What does a full bood count actually test?

CBC with diff..: This is a complete blood count with differential of wbc. This measures the red blood cell count with hemoglobin, hematocrit, red cell distribution, mean corpuscular hemoglobin, and other parameters, along with the differential white count. This includes neutrophils, bands, lymphocytes, monocytes, basophils, eosinophils. Platelets would be estimated also.
