Hidden testicle: A non-palpable testis, which is located either in the inguinal canal canal or abdomen. Needs to be differentiated from an absent testis. Term cryporchism is often erroneously used interchangeably with undescended testis. A cryptorchid tsetis is thus a type of undescended testis because a palpable undescended testis is not cryporchid, subject or examiner knows exactly where it is, i.e. Not hidden..
