Can one take meloxicam with ibuprofen?

Not advise: Each of these are nsaids and nsaids have efficacy for pain and inflammation but also have a risk for side effects, one of which are ulcers. Taking the two together may not increase efficacy but will increase the risk of side effects especially the risk of GI ulcers.

Same type of med: Not a good idea as you will taking too much of this type of med. Both are nsaids and can cause intestinal bleeding if too may are taken, .

NSAIDS: Meloxicam, and Ibuprofen are non steroidal anti-inflammatory medications. It is not recommended to take multiple nsaids together as that they can cause stomach upset, kidney dysfunction and more.
