Blotches: It cause a red blotchy poorly defined rash on the trunk and occasionally face. There may not even be itching initially. It occurs in people who have a virus and are treated with amoxicillin. It is not classified as an allergic rash under that circumstance although Amoxicillin can cause allergic reaction with swelling and itching.

Maculopapular rash: Maculopapular eruptions are the most common. It's red small bumps distributed allover the body. Others include hives, red patches(erythematous), small bumps with tiny blister at center, etc.
