No: But some glucose meters are sensitive to altitude - so ask your doctor if it is a problem with your meter.

Not much research!: There is some thought that insulin resistance may increase at high altitude but not enough research has been done to be certain. We do know glucose monitors remain accurate at altitude so bring your testing equipment & follow your blood sugar closely to be safe. Make a plan with your doctor if your sugar were to elevate & try to follow your regular diet if possible.
