It varies: Thank you for your question. A disclocated shoulder is at risk for redislocating initially after it occurs. In a simple, first time dislocation, strict activity restrictions are used for about 3 weeks and then advanced to normal activities by about 6 weeks. There are many types of humerous fractures and the healing rate depends partly on the type, 10 weeks is avg for a humeral shaft fracture.
