Neither: From a holistic viewpoint, avoid both. Get a proper filter for your tap water and store it in glass bottles.

Every Surgeon General in our lifetime has recommended water fluoridation. Kids lose many hours each year due to dental pain. The truth is that the kids that have the least access to dental care, need fluoride the most.
