Not effective: You can sure try it, but I do not believe that it is effective....(though you may smell a little fresher). The studies I have seen do not show that any of the home remedies are very effective at thwarting mosquitoes. Otc products containing deet work the best, though some people believe deet can be harmful. I personally use it, and will take that risk over the bites and associated problems.
