Depends on the Bug: Scabies is probably the most common skin parasite in most parts of the us. They are easily treated with topical medications. Close contacts are also usually treated to prevent reinfection. There are however many other parasites that are endemic to certain locales and countries. Treatment varies and depends on an accurate diagnosis.

Human Parasites: Visit your doctor to find out what kind of parasite you have. Scabies and body lice have similar symptoms and body, head and pubic lice are actually different species of bugs. Your doctor will need to identify the bug that's bothering you so she can prescribe the appropriate treatment.
