Use a mirror: Rectal prolapse is unusual in a 31 year old, but it can occur. When sitting on the toilet, if you think it is a prolapse, look with a pirror or take a picture. A rectal prolapse will be a circular piece of tissue hanging out of the anus. If present see a surgeon.
