How to ease the pain of rectal prolapse?

Need proctologist: Opinion. Since there are so many different types of rectal prolapse and so many different categorization schemes for rectal prolapse, you're going to need the help of either a G.I. Surgeon, a GI specialist, or a proctologist. I would recommend you start with your family practitioner and he or she can refer you from there. You may need surgical treatment if the pain is severe.
