Start with PCP: Anxiety can keep you awake. Sleep apnea can also. Talk to your primary care doctor first. It could be solved there. Depending on what your dr finds the answer can be simply dealing with the anxiety. If not clear or seems more complex a referral to psychiatrist or sleep apnea specialist may be in order.

Ask your PCP: Start by discussing your symptoms with your regular doctor (pcp). Your pcp might suggest a referral to a sleep center and/or to a specialist (e.g., psychiatrist or psychologist). Depending on your diagnoses, psychotherapy and/or medications will possibly be suggested. You also might find that more than one doctor will work with you on these concerns.
