Hard to say: There really isn't a crystal ball on prognosis of disease but i would recommend that somebody in later stages seek out care and comfort through hospice. Hospice can give more quality to the rest of a patient's life so i would recommend you speak to your physician about this.

Variable: It is simply a general answer and depending upon so many factors, one could live from 6 months to 2 years or more. If patient qualifies for special pacemaker (biventricular) or heart transplant, of course the person will live much longer!
