Is there anything to take to lower the increase of patches of hives in a 3 year old. and, how long do hives last.?

Read on: Of course try to figure out the cause of the hives or they will constantly recur. U can give benadryl, (diphenhydramine) call ur dr for the dosage, or u can give some of the once a day antihistamines as Benadryl (diphenhydramine) can make them tired. Hives can last about three to five days possibly longer but consult ur dr if much longer especially if u can't figure out the reason for them.
