Many OTC's available: There are many over the counter (otc) options available for a yeast infection. Most important is make sure you are truly dealing with a yeast infection, since other infections can cause similar symptoms. Two options include: try the otc and if not better, see your doctor; or, see your doctor now to confirm the diagnosis via a pelvic examination and microscopy examination.

OTC meds: There are a number of over the counter creams for yeast infections. They are usually near tampons and pads. Gyne-lotrimin is a common brand. A severe yeast infection can make you spot.
