Most important is make sure you are truly dealing with a yeast infection, since other infections can cause similar symptoms. OTC meds: There are a number of over the counter creams for yeast infections. They are usually near tampons and pads. Gyne-lotrimin is a common brand. A severe yeast infection can make you spot.
