Need an ultrasound: By your edc you're only 8 weeks. With pain located to just one side, you really need an ob/pelvic ultrasound to rule out an ectopic (tubal) pregnancy which may rupture and cause hemorrhage, severe pain, and worse. Please call your OB to be seen. Other less dangerous concerns include ovarian cysts, infections, (appendicitis is also a major concern), or uterine tumors (fibroids). Take care.

Call your ob: I assume u already had an ultrasound?, but pain in that area could be from a normal corpus luteum cyst from preganancy or an abnormal cyst, fibroid, ectopic pregnancy, stretching of the round ligament, early appendicitis, etc, so your OB needs to do an exam and an ultrasound or follow up ultrasound.
