YES IT COULD: Ulcers bleed at some point in time if not treated. You will develop black stools. There are other causes of upper abdominal pain, so please see your doctor.

Maybe: You may have inflammation of your stomach or esophagus. Try Tums (calcium carbonate) or mylanta ii. If your symptoms go away, see your doctor about the possibilities of further studies and more definitive treatments. You will see your doctor if your symptoms don't go away.
