Pleuritis: It sounds like you are experiencing pleuritic chest pain, which is pain that is made worse by expansion of the thoracic cavity, such as with a deep inhalation. I don't know how long you have had the pain, but you may have pleuritis (or inflammation of the lining of the lung), which may result from a viral infection or adverse effects of a medication you might be on. See your doc for workup.
