Does. gas bubbles affect eyesight permantantly?!

Usually not: Gas is inserted in the eye to mechanically hold the retina in place for re-attachment surgery. If air, then it will spontaneously absorb. If synthetic gas, it sill stay a long time and may lead to the development of cataracts which can be removed, restoring vision. The prognosis depends upon the extent of the retinal detachment and its length of time before treatment. Ask retinal doctor.

Nope: Gas bubbles, depending on the type of gas, will dissolve away in a few days to a few weeks.
