Or it can work the other way around too.....Lose weight, and you may not NEED the CPAP machine for sleep apnea.

Yes: CPAP can help you lose weight in many ways. You should have more energy during the day leading to increased activities. There are also hormonal changes that occur with sleep deprivation that can be normalized leading to easier weight loss.
