What are the side effects of using a cpap machine for sleep apenia?

It depends.: This depends on what continuous pressure that can be set on your machine so that you can have airway flow when you don't inhale or exhale. In neonates, pneumothorax is associated with nasal cpap, and can be found in adult users also. Other side effects include difficulty or pain while breathing and back, neck and muscle pain, thought to be from forced air into the lungs that is not expelled.

A few: The most common CPAP side-effects are mask or pressure related. Some patients will experience claustrophobia to the CPAP mask. Some patients will develop nasal congestion while others may experience rhinitis or a runny nose. While CPAP side-effects are a nuisance, serious side-effects are very uncommon.
