Around day 9: If the cycle is 23 days, then you ovulate 14 days before the start of your menstrual period, so around day 9 after the start of the menstrual period. You can prove this by buying a ovulation kit to see if i'm correct. Good luck to you, .

14 days prior : After ovulation is usually a fixed time interval, approx 14 days. Therefore, you ovulate around 14 days prior to your menstrual cycle. With a 23 day cycle, this would be day 9 for you (day 1 is onset of your menses). Good luck to you.
