Dry eye: Your description sounds like dry eye. I would recommend otc artificial tears and if no resolution, you should go see an eye doctor.

Dry eyes: I assume your journey is by car? If so, your eyes are just getting dry, probably from the air conditioning blowing on your face. I wouldn't worry about the pimples. Some small bumps on the inner aspect of the lid are normal.
