Hpv: Their are other strains of hpv you can contract. The vaccination is indicated for women of reproductively age, or with other risk factors for exposure to hpv.

Yes: There are hundreds of types of hpv and some may cause genital warts others precancer or cancer of the cervix. Your body can get rid of the virus on its own but there is no treatment for hpv only the changes that occur secondary to hpv. If you are not in a monogamous relationship, the vaccine is a good idea. See your doctor to discuss further.
