Ask your surgeon: Do not attempt without consulting surgeon. Just curious, which ankle is it. If it is your driving foot this will obviously have a significant effect.

This question : Should be answered by your surgeon. I will say no. Assuming it is the driving foot, your reaction time is not the same as it was prior to the surgery and hence you would be seriously liable if you were in an accident. Plus, we don't want you getting into an accident in the first place.
