Doctor can check: Just because a woman got the novasure endometrial ablation does not necessarily mean her abdominal pains are due to the novasure. So, she can see her primary care doctor to look for non-uterus causes of pain (such as problems in the stomach, liver, bladder, kidneys, etc...). At the same time, her ob-gyn doctor can look for pain related to women's reproductive organs (uterus, ovaries, etc...).

See your dr: A pregnancy test and ultrasound should be done. The ultrasound could show if the uterus is retaining blood or tissue or if another problem with your uterus is causing problems.
