Not usual: If it recent surgery may be some adhesions are forming, if procedure is done long time ago, your need investigations to find the cause of your pain, like sono, ct, endoscopy etc, see your doctor as soon as possible.

Maybe: Pain after any surgical procedure is expected. The location of pain may vary, depending on the procedure type and perhaps your position on the operating table at the time of procedure. It may also represent a new clinical problem unrelated to your original process requiring surgery (i.e. Peptic ulcer after gallbladder surgery). Any unrelenting pain should be evaluated by your surgeon promptly.
