Continue exams: I would suggest to continue regular exams and paps. Research is unclear whether your immune system fights and rids virus vs lays dormant. Best approach continue with regularly scheduled exams.

Most don't: There are 2-4 strains of HPV associated with genital warts, which you would see.There are at least a dozen strains linked to oral,anal & cervical cancer that you may not.Some studies cited as much as 70% of tested college age woman had antibodies showing past HPV. Being aware that there is such a germ and it could bring you harm is just a good motivation to get checkups.
