Why do some people get a big circled bold spot on their head? my mother has one and also my father what cold it be? no one else has it in the family

ALOPECIA AREATA: Sometimes somebody gets a bald spot in their heads due to unknown cause or due to some dermatitis or tension. It usually grow back in a few months or the dermatologist gives a steroid shot under the skin or apply steroid cream.
