Should a14 month old have 5-7 bms a day. sometimes pebbles sometimes just a little hard and sticky?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Sounds constipated: A toddler pooping pebbles or hard/sticky poop is constipated. Treatment can include: prune juice, apple-prune juice, mashed up fruits, children's laxatives (several over-the-counter brands to choose from). The pediatrician can evaluate to see if there is any problem of significance.
