Does fibromyalgia respond to steroids, like the medrol (methylprednisolone) dose pack?

Temporarily: You may feel better for a short time but it is not a good treatment long term. The only proven treatment for fibromyalgia is a regular exercise program that consists of aerobic activity.

No.: Fibromyagia is not an inflammatory disease. If it helps, you may have another diagnosis, another type of arthritis. Half my pfs patients ultimately are found to have another problem.
