Possibly: Holistically, you may try chondroitin sulfate and glucosamine. These are not rx but otc.

Yes and No: Artificial lubricants have been used by orthopedists and may be your answer. Call your local orthopedist to see if you may be a candidate for this treatment. One such product is called synvisc (hylan g-f 20).
