Implanon contracept: Implanon a low dose Progesterone releasing implantable contraceptive which acts independent of what you ingest.Taking oral antibiotics or other medications should not affect the way Implanon acts by releasing Progesterone which thickens the mucus plug and makes it impossible to penetrate by sperms.Additionally it causes atrophy of the endometrium and prevents implantation.
