Side effects: Side effects are same either neo or adjuvant. It also depends on type of therapy use. Nausea, vomiting, hair loss, lowering blood counts, lower immunity and some specific effects related to type of chemo.

Dependent on drugs: Adjuvant and neoadjuvant chemotherapy refer mainly to the timing of the chemotherapy in relation to other treatments. The side effects are determined by the actual drugs that are used.
