Go to hospital now.: If he truly inhaled the peanut he needs it removed sooner rather than later. They may taste good, but peanuts are very irritating to the lung and can cause damage in just a few hours.

Where's the peanut?: A person who is certain he inhaled a peanut into the lungs would be coughing badly. Usually, the person would have to go to the E.R. For such coughing. However, if the person is fine now, and breathing without problems, but is convinced he has a peanut in his lung (not in his stomach), he should still talk with his doctor or the E.R. To get evaluated. Any peanut in the lung should be removed.
