Maybe more flow: Menstrual flow comes from inside the uterus. The uterus has some contractions during masturbation, so maybe the flow increases temporarily. That can show up as heavier flow and make a leak around tampons or pads more likely. One can just expect a bit of heavier flow and be ready for it. If there are unusual or worrisome symptoms, the doctor can evaluate to see if there is any problem.

No: Masturbating will not cause heavier periods. However, if your hymen (a thin layer of tissue just inside your vagina), which normally stays intact until you have intercourse or use a tampon, is still intact, vaginal penetration with a dildo may have ruptured your hymen, which may cause mild bleeding which stops on its own. Hope that helps! good luck & be careful!
