No to Onion: Nothing is more frustrating than not being able to sleep. Tossing and turning. Your mind is racing, going over everything that happened today. Find the cause: First find out why you can not sleep, is it physical health related problem, or psychological stress that causing insomnia, seek professional help first, open onion will only make every one in your house smell like an onion and then have good sleep.

You can : Try it, but i don't think it will work. There are doctors that specialize in sleep disorders. Why not try one? Sleeping is important for your health. I would imagine the onion would just smell up the room.
