Very hard to know: The answer to the question, "how many baby girls born in 1920 in the U.S. Made it past their 92nd birthdays" is out there, somewhere. In general, we look at life expectancy, which is a bit different. The social security office says for girls born in 2007, their life expectancy is 80 years, but 20% will still be alive at age 92. Numbers can be confusing! plus, nobody can predict the next 92 years.

Not so unusual now..: The number of americans, mostly women, living past 90 tripled between 1980 and 2010 to about 2 million, and will likely double every decade. Over age 90, it's about 2/3 women; after age 95, men make up about 1/4. Overall, probably getting into about 1% of the population living to age 92.
