Will prenatal vitamins increase my chances of pregnancy?

NO: Prenatal vitamins just provide nutrients your diet is missing. Most western diets in the us have adequate nutrients, therefore the prenatal vitamins are not doing too much other than providing extra Folic Acid to decrease the risk of spinal cord defects.

Yes.: The Folic Acid in the prenatal vitamins will decrease the risk of early pregnancy failure and can actually increase your fertility to the point of multifetal gestation. Take 1-5 mg daily throughout your reproductive years! this can prevent preterm birth fetal neural tube and cardiac anomalies in up to 90% of cases.
