Many good choices: There are many high-quality prenatal vitamins available but the 2 brands i most often recommend are perfect prenatal by new chapter and prenatal one by rainbow light.

All similar.: Trial and error will tell you which formulation is most tolerated by your system. All us formulations are similar if fda approved; some of my patients tell me that walgreen's pnv cause less nausea. I think that the centrum specialist prenatal vitamins are of high quality.

Prenatal vitamins: There are many prenatal vitamins on the market. Most are over the counter. They should contain 400 mcg of Folic Acid and a woman should start them 2-3 months before she wants to get pregnant. Once a woman becomes pregnant, a prenatal vitamin with omega-3s should be added.
