Not great: Unfortunately the chances of conception after the age of 40 is less than 10% per cycle. The chances of miscarriage increases from approximately 15 to 20 % to about 30 to 50% per pregnancy. The chances of having a genetic abnormality is much higher also. Have your doctor evaluate your ovarian reserve.

<3-5% per cycle.: Pretty low chances of spontaneous conception per menstrual cycle - presuming you still have regular cycles. Seek ivf care asap - and consider donor eggs from a younger woman to improve your chance at carrying a pregnancy, if genetic dissimilarity is not an issue. Take Folic Acid 1-5 mg daily.
