A member asked:

Why does clotting of blood occur around the heart for renal patients?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Unusual: Bleeding around the heart from kidney disease would be unusual. It could happen if the kidney disease is associated with low platelet count. In patients with untreated terminal renal failure, fluid can accumulate around the heart.
