See your gyn!!: In early pregnancy, it can be normal to have a little bleeding (brown discharge is usually from small amounts of bleeding). This can be from implantation of the fertilized egg into the placental area in the uterus. However, it is important to check (usually by ultrasound) that the pregnancy is fine (make sure there is no sign of miscarriage, etc).
