NOT UNUSUAL FOR THE: Immediate area to be red. Look for any drainage, or bulging, reasons for which the laceration needs seen earlier rather than later.

Lesion: If stitches were an area that was traumatized, that is not uncommon. But if area is hot, tender, painful, swollen or has any purulent material you may have a wound infection. If infected, prompt medical attention is warranted.
