Many diff poss: Causes, could be hormones, or uterus or ovary problems, you need an exam , blood work and pelvic ultrasound, you may need an office hysteroscopy with bx to make sure endometrial tissue is normal. That is what i would do if u were one of my pts and depending on what is found there are many differnet options, if u are done with children, I do office tubals and albaltions -no more fertilty, periods.
A 47-year-old member asked:
Could my husband's super fast metabolism be the reason my baby is skinny?

Probably not: A baby's growth assuming that there are no metabolic issues like hypo or hyperthyroidism, failure to thrive, feeding issues, congenital heart defects or other medical issues is usually related to the nutrients available compared to the energy expenditure. I am assuming that your husband has no medical issues himself that may be genetically transmitted to your baby. Babys come in all sizes.
