It depends: Generally radiation therapy can only be given only once in one area. However, you can have radiation therapy again, in different areas, right away. A radiation oncologist creates a MAP showing how much radiation different parts of your body have received and will tell you where additional radiation is possible. You can have radiation treatments as frequently as twice a day.

Depends: In different areas not treated before you can get radiation. In the same area depends in the size of the fields and doses previously used as well as the types of radiation available. In one area however there are limits and it can not be repeated over and over.
