So many: Dr. Murray is correct in all ways. Benefits also depend upon geography. Did you know that taller people earn more money, and folks with a beautiful smile also enjoy greater financial and social success? Life is not fair in this respect, but nonetheless it is true. In the uk or third world countries it does not matter near as much. Oral hygiene is easier and as such there is less cardiac disease.

Longevity: In addition to the obvious great smile and self esteem props, i feel longevity of your teeth is the most important thing we accomplish for our patients. When your teeth fit and look good, they don't beat each other up over time. So your teeth have a much better chance of lasting your entire lifetime. Oral hygiene is also enhanced as straight teeth are easier to maintain.

Oh so many: Teeth that are well aligned over good bone support work better, last longer, protect the supporting bone & gum, protect the tmj, and not so incidentally look better. If teeth and jaws are straightened before restorative dental rx, usually less caps, veneers, fillings, bridges, gum surgery, needed after the ortho rx compared to before. See a qualified orthodontist to find out more, and good luck.
