A 38-year-old member asked:
is it a bad idea for a person in her 20's take geritol?
1 doctor answer • 2 doctors weighed in

Dr. Pedro Hernandez answered
Geriatrics 40 years experience
No: Geritol is a group of vitamins for the elderly. Most multivitamins have very low dosis of vitamins in each pill so most of the time is not dangerouse to take them. Unless you have a serous disease of the kidney or liver or allergy to any of the components of geritol most likely won't hurt.

A 20-year-old female asked:
Can taking geritol liquid stop you from getting a period ?
1 doctor answer • 1 doctor weighed in

Dr. Douglas Lawson answered
Obstetrics and Gynecology 28 years experience
Not likely: I've not heard of anyone taking geritol liquid to stop a period. I'm assuming you are talking about the vitamin supplement, that is advertised for seniors.
If you are sexually active consider checking a pregnancy test if you missed your period.
