You have to: Keep track of it at your age they could be irregular or gone, you gyn can do hormone blood testing and an ultrasound to see what is going on and at yiour gae if you do not want periods anymore you can get an endometrial ablation which I do in my office on many pts- takes 8 minutes, easy gets rid of the endometrium so no ore worthless periods and it does not effect your ovarian function.

Depends: If you are nursing, then it is highly variable when you will get your period. If you are not nursing, then you will probably get your period about 6 weeks after the baby is born.

Menstrual pain: Severe pain should be evaluated by a gynecologist. Mild to moderate cramping can be relieved with NSAID meds like Ibuprofen or naproxen. Check out no-drug methods too like massage, exercise, and a new menstrual belt called ziivaa.

Not your periods: Both menses sound normal being moody is likely related to other circumstances (husband, kids, job, money ?).

When spotting very little, is it considered a menstral cycle?

Hypomenorrhea: Very light menstrual flow can be normal. Having regular cycles that aren't too heavy or painful is more important than concern about enough flow. A sudden change in menstrual flow can signal a problem, like a hormonal change or pregnancy.
