You can measure.: Though true bladder capacity is obtained during cystocopic or urodynamic evaluation, you can get a rough measure of your bladder capacity by holding your urine until you feel urinary urgency, then voiding into a container and measuring the amount. The average bladder volume is between 400-600ml or 13-20 fl. Oz. If you have any urinary complaints, i so recommend evaluation by a specialist.

See below: The bladder size in an adult is 300 mls or about 10 ounces. There are several factors which affect this volume. For example the resting bladder activity. To measure your bladder volume, collect the urine with each void in a graduated container and read the measurement. Collect several voids and measurements and take the average. If you bladder volume is 200 mls or less, consult your doctor.
